One of my favorite authors, Sandie Bricker's, publisher is offering a free download of Always the Wedding Planner, Never the Bride!
I got to read and review this book last year. Here's the blurb and my thoughts on it.
Always the Wedding Planner Never the Bride
By Sandra D. Bricker
Published by Abingdon Press
ISBN 978-1-4267-3160-0
As a wedding planner, you'd think she would have the perfect
wedding experience ...
Sherilyn Keys has left Chicago behind to marry Andrew Drummond
IV, as Atlanta native with a family name that tops all the social registers
Landing the job as Tanglewood's wedding planner is a piece
of cake for someone with a Type A personality; she's the perfect fit for a
wedding hotel known for its attention to even the tiniest detail.
But when everything else is going along swimmingly, why are
her own wedding plans drowning right before her eyes?
One way or the other Sherilyn is determined to make this
wedding work—until the latest development threatens to call the whole thing
off. Is it possible Sherilyn is allergic to her fiancé?
Always the Wedding
Planner Never the Bride had me laughing all the way through. I loved the
first book in this series, Always the
Baker Never the Bride, but this one is even better. Bricker is the Queen of quirky
characters and doesn't disappoint in Always
the Wedding Planner. The story took some interesting twists and turns I
didn't see coming, and left me thoroughly delighted at the end. Novel Rocket and I give it our highest
recommendation. If you like to laugh, it's a must read.
Sandra D. Bricker has been
publishing in both the Christian and general markets for years with novels for women and teens, magazine
articles and short stories. With 12 books in print and another slated for publication in 2011,
Sandie has carved out a niche for herself as an author of laugh-out-loud romantic comedy
for the inspirational market. Sandie was an entertainment publicist for 15+ years, an
experience that fuels her penchant for promoting
her books with flare and creativity. She currently writes while
working a day job as a content editor in Tampa, Florida, where she resides with
a free-spirited collie named Sophie.
