I've been writing

So much so, I forgot to post anything. But I've met my word goal of 1,000 words each day. Then today I passed it by 600 words. I love it when that happens. But I managed to get to Starbucks early enough to get my favorite chair. I wrote for 3 hours straight. Yeah, I know - 1600 words in 3 hours isn't the fastest. I did have to look up a few things on the Internet. I usually try to leave that for the editing, but in this case I had to know what direction to take the scene. So I was pleased when I went back to check the count. 


I haven't been as consistent as usual, either. When my brother moved in with us, it changed my lifestyle dramatically. Not bad - just different. I'm cooking more than before. I'd gotten spoiled and lazy when it came to the kitchen. 


So I'm really looking forward to tonight. It's my Bible study group's Ladies Night Out. We go to dinner, just us gals. 


I hear my guys in the kitchen, foraging for themselves. It's a good thing I'd made up a few salads like potato salad, chicken salad, and 2 homemade soups. I should have a clean refrigerator when I get home. 


But I'm hoping I'm finally back in the grove ... or have found a different grove to settle into. I'll let you know.
